Huntley Community Club set to Host Annual Fundraising Auction
– The annual Barkemeyer Park fundraising auction will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013. Proceeds from the auction will be used to cover annual maintenance and operation costs, and to make improvements to Barkemeyer Park in Huntley.
The auction will feature hundreds of new and used items donated by local businesses and community members. Attendees are welcome and encouraged to bring law chairs, pack a cooler and plan on spending the day at this family-friendly event. Concessions will be available. The auction starts at 12 p.m.
Since its inception, Barkemeyer Park has been maintained and improved solely through the contributions made by community businesses and members to the Park’s annual fundraising auction and the volunteers who donate countless hours to the park each year.

The Huntley Community Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the maintenance and beautification of Barkemeyer Park, established December 28, 1957, as a community gathering place.
