Two Votes Separate School Board Candidates, Lockwood Chairman Defeated

The voters of Yellowstone County have spoken.

In Lockwood, all three candidates’ results were fairly close margins; however, voters in that school district were choosing two candidates. Josh Skidmore and Jamie Fandrich earned the victory with 663 and 613 of the 2,374 total votes. This defeated Timothy Sather from his long-standing position as chairman.

Also noteworthy are the results of Huntley Project’s race: Bill Cook won by a landslide 61.87% against Ludell Heaton, who received 32.31%. Tim Ley won versus Jerry Simonson, 60.03% to 33.69%, also for Huntley Project.
