HUNTLEY PROJECT — The Huntley Project High School boys’ track team placed second and the girls’ team placed third at the state Class B track meet at Laurel.
Shepherd’s boys’ team placed 12th and the girls’ team placed 13th. Forsyth won the boys’ meet. Bigfork won the girls’ meet.
At the state Class C meet, Larisah Moreland was the only placer for Custer-Hysham, landing sixth in the high jump with a 4-10 effort.
Both Shepherd and Huntley Project had state champions. For Huntley Project, Bradley Graves won the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.64. HP’s 4×100 meter relay won in 43.35.
HP’s Emily Poole won both the discus, with a throw of 118-9, and the javelin, with a throw of 133-6.
For Shepherd, Maddisen Marema won the 100 meter dash in 12.76 seconds.

Discus — 3. Harrell, 138-6, 6. Gustav Wenz, Shepherd, 135-6.

200 meters — Alana Graves, HP, 27.27.
400 meters — 6. Graves, 1:01.24.
4×100 relay — 4. Shepherd: Keyona Dalke, Maddisen Marema, Jaycee Murdock, Tenley Murdock, Kailey Ferguson, 51.34.
High jump — 3. Abby Schmidt, HP, 4-10.
Triple jump — 2. Kamille Reynolds, HP, 34-10.
