Huntley Project approves teacher contracts for upcoming year

WORDEN — The Huntley Project School Board has approved contracts for both tenured and non-tenured teachers for the 2018-2019 school year.

Tenured teachers receiving a contract for the upcoming year include Julie Caster, Pamela Roberts, Carmen Burdett, Iona Stookey, Richard Dees, Walter Selman, Rhonda Koivu, Belinda Willson, Mara Beard, Mark Branger, Tara Christman, Christina Geck, Carolyn Sian, Kelly Higareda, Billy Murphy, Rebecca Nay, Maranda Simpson, Tammy Murphy, Christine Jobman, Teresa LaForest, Sarah Reynolds, Stacy Sokoloski, Andrea Connard, Tichelle Ickes, Kelly Tutecki, Erin Glennie, Joshua Morse, Timothy Bastian, Stephanie Berg-Tousson, Adam Husk, Erin Jones, Wesley Lindeen, Guy Croy, Shelbie Croy, Britta Smith, Robert Yates, Cheltsie Williams, Jennifer Charlton, Tim Kaczmarek, George Lehman, Chere’ Payovich, Holli Halama, Erik Gentry, Bo Grandahl, Brooke Milne and LeEllen Schuppe.

Non-tenured teachers receiving contracts include Kevin Avison, Bambi Dalke, Maggie Daly, Tiffany Iverson, Adam Johnson, Jodi Jones, Logan McKenney, Connor Novakovich, Toni Reid, Adam Ruhnke, Susan Simonson and Kelsey Stewart.

Darci Davison, who is beginning her fourth year of teaching, received a tenure contract.

Special education teacher Taylor Sidwell, who also coached, resigned from the district for a position in Hardin, where he lives, said Superintendent Mark Wandle.

The board accepted Sidwell’s resignation, along with the resignations of Erin Reilly, a cafeteria worker who also managed the concession stands and the district’s summer lunch program, and bus driver Steve Glick.
