The Huntley Project Lions Club announced the concert performers for Homesteader Days this year!
The 2014 Homesteader Days and Concert will kick off Friday night, July 11th with the gates opening at 5:30 pm. Restless Heart will open at 7:00PM then the feature act, Diamond Rio at approximately 9:00PM followed by The Bucky Beaver Ground Grippers till 1:00AM Saturday morning.
Saturday July 12 will kick off with the traditional Homesteader Days Parade starting at 11AM. General admission is $2 at the gate. Fireworks at dark on Saturday as well.
About Diamond Rio:
Six-time Vocal Group of the Year, Diamond Rio won their first Grammy their first Christian album, The Reason on Word Records which also garnered the band their first Dove award. Formed in 1984, Diamond Rio features lead singer Marty Roe, guitarist Jimmy Olander, drummer Brian Prout, keyboardist Dan Truman, bassist/harmony Dana Williams and Gene Johnson on mandolin/harmony.
