Siemon of Huntley Project Signs with Montana State Billings

BILLINGS, Mont. — Montana State Billings volleyball coach Lisa Axel has announced the signing of two in-state recruits.

Outside hitter Stormy Siemon of Huntley Project and middle hitter Julia Anderson of Helena Capital plan to join the Yellowjackets for the 2013 season.

Siemon is a four-time all-state player as Huntley Project won four state Class B championships. The Huntley Project Red Devils posted a 132-16 record in those four seasons where Siemon helped Huntley Project achieve their 4 peat win in a row.  Siemon tallied 2,082 kills, 1,530 digs and 225 services aces in her career. She also had 176 total blocks.

The 6-foot-2 Anderson helped Helena Capital to a fourth place finish at the state Class AA tournament. She set Capital’s school record with 25 kills in a match when she was a junior. Anderson tallied 230 kills and 86 blocks as a senior.

Good Luck to Siemon and Anderson who will be playing for Montana State University – Billings and representing Huntley Project and Helena Capital as well.
