History of Flying D Mini-Storage:
The units were built in 1990. Steel buildings with concrete floors. Our Business started by John & Lois Dudik of Shepherd. Steve & Judy Nixon bought the business in July 2005. The office is located in the west end of the yellow house. We are a locally owned and family operated business in the Shepherd area and have been providing business since 1990 from storage units and spaces to locals in Shepherd, Huntley, Worden, Ballantine and the Billings area.
Driving Directions:
From Billings: Drive East on Highway 312 8 miles, pass the flashing light and were are located on the left side of the road after the Shepherd-Huntley Animal Care hospital. You can see our units, office and U-Haul rentals on the North side of the road.
From Interstate 94: Exit Interstate 94 at Exit 6 and turn North toward the town of Huntley. Continue on Pryor Creek road 1.5 miles to Huntley’s main street called Northern Avenue. Pass Huntley’s Barkemeyer Park (on the right) and turn left on Nahmis Avenue and continue North for 1 mile to Highway 312. Turn left onto Highway 312 and cross the Yellowstone River and continue for 1/2 mile and we are located on the North side (right side) of highway 312.
From Worden, Ballantine or Pompeys Pillar: Drive West on Highway 312 and pass the town of Worden, continue another 8 miles and cross the Yellowstone River bridge and we are located at the top of hill on the right hand side of the road. You will see the storage units and spaces along with the U-Haul rentals at our location.
