Welcome to History of the Huntley Project! We thank you for visiting this section of the website. We intend to promote the rich heritage, culture, and stories that have been recorded with intentions to educate the masses about the Huntley Project area. As the Huntley Project was named due to the Irrigation District that was created in the 1900's; we hope that all those who have documented stories of the Huntley Project will include thier information. We would like to thank the Huntley Project Irrigation District for thier support in this endeavor as well as the Huntley Project Musuem. Please be patient as this takes time to accumulate the info.

The Sod 'N Seed 'N Tumbleweed book was put together by the Huntley Project History Committee and we hope to bring to light some of the history, culture and events that affected the Huntley Project area from Pompey's Pillar, Ballantine, Worden, and Huntley. Please be patient as we are gathering information from a number of resources as well as use this book for some as well.
